위 문제를 코틀린 Coroutine을 사용하여 해결해봅시다. 방법은 간단합니다. MainViewModel에 Job 객체 타입 변수를 하나 만들고 해당 Job의 코루틴이 viewModelScope를 Scope 로 가지도록 해줍니다. 코루틴 빌더인 launch를 통해 별도의 옵션 없이 Job 객체를 만들면 만드는 동시에 실행되므로, 실행 시점을 제어하려면 launch의 start 파라미터에 CoroutineStart.LAZY를 넘겨줘야 합니다.
