<p>Three things I learned doing an AMA with the great Allen Lau:</p>

<li>It’s perfectly OK to not have a fancy hobby if you really enjoy your work and love improving your knowledge and skills for the work – if those give you enough energy and joy. You don’t have to feel bad about not playing golf like everyone else does</li>



<li>Deep tech is great. It gives you ultimate defensibility. In fact, the very definition of “deep tech” can be a defensible technology that’s hard to catch up with or replicate</li>



<li>Canada has a very strong academic foundation and the country needs to turn more science researches into startups</li>
