위 질문이 올라온 이유는 공매도모니터링을 위한 NSDS를 도입하기 때문입니다. 이와 관련한 법적 조치들을 하나씩 시행하는 중입니다.
<blockquote>정부·유관기관은 공매도의 불법·불공정을 해소하기 위하여 근본적인 공매도 제도개선을 추진하고 있다. 금일 국무회의를 통과한 자본시장법 시행령 개정(공매도 잔고 공시 강화)과 같이 법률 개정 없이 가능한 제도개선 사항은 법 개정과 별도로 우선 추진되었다. 개인투자자 대상 대주서비스의 담보비율의 경우 9.27일 금융투자업규정 개정을 완료해 대차 수준인 105%(현금기준)로 인하하였으며(’25.3.31일 시행 예정), 시장조성자(MM)와 유동성공급자(LP)의 공매도 목적 대차거래에 대해서는 대차 중개기관(예탁원·증금 등) 시스템을 개편하여 11.1일부터 상환기간 제한(90일 단위 연장, 총12개월)을 적용 중이다.
법률 개정 사항인 공매도 전산시스템, 내부통제기준, 증권사 확인 및 대차 상환기간 제한 등의 경우, 9.26일 자본시장법 개정안이 국회를 통과하고 10.22일 공포됨에 따라 이달 중 후속 시행령·규정 개정안이 입법예고될 예정이다. 정부와 유관기관은 내년 3월말 공매도가 재개될 수 있도록, 관련 제도개선 및 공매도 전산시스템 구축 등 후속조치에 만전을 기할 것이다.

2025년 3월부터 시행하기 때문에 외국인투자자에게 공매도보고를 위한 시스템은 시급합니다. FIX Forum에 댓글로 달린 글이니다.

In addition, all sell orders placed by institutional investors will be effectively monitored by a central monitoring system (NSDS: Naked Short-selling Detection System) set up at the Korea Exchange (KRX).
